America Idol's Haley Reinhart and Casey Abrams Perform a Duet of “I Feel the Earth Move”

American Idol Season 10's favorite 'couple' ~ the sassy and sexy Haley Reinhart and the 'Sexy Beast' Casey Abrams perform another great duet for the Top 6 Results Show. The theme for this week was "The Music of Carole King."

Casey and Haley have amazing chemistry onstage, as evidenced in the duet of Sarah Vaughn's "Moanin'." We get to see their off-stage chemistry in the intro clip to this duet. "I wouldn't want to sing with any one else but her," says Casey of Haley. "I like growling with her," Casey jokes.

After the performance, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler said, "Hey weird beard. How much in love with Haley are you? Come on, it showed, Man. That was really good. It’s really gotta matter what you guys do. That was great. Nothing but good."
"I Feel the Earth Move" is the first single released by pop singer Carole King, in 1971, and is on her album Tapestry. This song was a showcase for King's upbeat piano style, and had a very percussive feel. Jon Landau's review of Tapestry for Rolling Stone praised King's voice on this track, saying it negotiates turns from "raunchy" to "bluesy" to "harsh" to "soothing", with the last echoing the development of the song's melody into its chorus.

King's version of "I Feel the Earth Move" peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated June 19, 1971. It remained there for five consecutive weeks.
