Before Claudia Conway’s American Idol audition, she spent a lot of time focused on the negativity that surrounded her, even to the point of doubting herself and her abilities. After Katy Perry advised Claudia to “block out the noise” during her audition, Claudia began to feel a new sense of confidence; she decided to start believing in herself like Katy believed in her. Now, Claudia feels that it’s the “most important thing in the world” to establish her own identity, and she wants to do it through music.
