Scotty McCreery -" In Between"
Scotty McCreery video for "In Between" from the album Seasons Change. (Lyrics below)
Lyrics: I'm a little bit a ball cap Little bit of pearl snap button down shirt Little bit of big city concrete But a lot more small town dirt I can see your pretty eyes reading me like a map Wondering who I am and where I'm at I'm in between Friday night wild And quiet Sunday morning Between done after one and keep on pourin’ Ain't too high, ain't too low Just holding down the middle Steady as I go I ain't all holy water and I ain't all Jim Beam I'm somewhere in between I can be a steel toe work boot 40 hour blue collar mud on my jeans Then a weekend pack a bag Disappear, kick back on a white sand beach I'm a far cry from being a one-night stand But I ain't ready for a ring on my hand I'm in between Friday night wild And quiet Sunday morning Between done after one and keep on pourin’ Ain't too high, ain't too low Just holding down the middle Steady as I go I ain't all holy water and I ain't all Jim Beam I'm somewhere in between I can see your pretty eyes reading me like a map Wondering who I am and where I'm at I'm in between Friday night wild And quiet Sunday morning Between done after one and keep on pourin’ Ain't too high, ain't too low Just holding down the middle Steady as I go I ain't all holy water and I ain't all Jim Beam I'm somewhere in between Yeah, I'm somewhere in between

Scotty McCreery - "Five More Minutes" and lyrics
Scotty McCreery video for "Five More Minutes" off of the album Season's Change. Lyrics below
Eight years old a couple cane poles sitting down by the creek
Our lines in the water watching those bobbers seeing that red sun sink
Mama's on the porch yelling “supper's hot, y'all come and get it!”
We yelled five more minutes
At sixteen it was twelve o three standing at her front door
Katie's dad said midnight, but we needed just a little more
Yellow light flipping on and off, interrupting that goodnight kissing,
We wanted five more minutes
Time rolls by the clock don't stop
I wish I had a few more drops
Of the good stuff, the good times
Oh but they just keep on flying
Right on by like it ain't nothing
Wish I had me a pause button
Moments like those Lord knows I'd hit it
And give myself five more minutes
At eighteen turned my helmet in and walked to the fifty-yard line
Just the coach and me after we lost eighteen to nine
And I cried man next time to get in here I'll have to buy a ticket
Can't you give me five more minutes
Time rolls by the clock don't stop
I wish I had a few more drops
Of the good stuff, the good times
Oh but they just keep on flying
Right on by like it ain't nothing
Wish I had me a pause button
Moments like those Lord knows I'd hit it
And give myself five more minutes
At eighty-six my grandpa said there's angels in the room
All the family gathered 'round knew the time was coming soon
With so much left to say I prayed Lord I ain't finished
Just give us five more minutes
Time rolls by the clock don't stop
I wish I had a few more drops
Of the good stuff, the good times
Oh but they just keep on flying
Right on by like it ain't nothing
Wish I had me a pause button
Moments like those Lord knows I'd hit it
Yeah sometimes this old life will leave you wishing
That you had five more minutes
Five more minutes

America Idol Winner Scotty McCreery Wants to Record Duets with Lauren Alaina
While many wonder “Are they or aren’t they?” regarding the romantic relationship status of Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina‘s personal relationship, it’s clear that the American Idol semi-finalists have a high professional regard for one another. McCreery has said he would love to have Alaina duet with him on his debut album.
“I said, look, we’ve been together since day one, and we’re still together,” McCreery told USA Today immediately after being declared the victor. “We met the first day in Hollywood, we’ve been good friends through it all, we’ve been classmates. I just said this ain’t the end and we’re gonna keep on working. We sound good together. It’d be nice to get some duets.” The pair has experience singing together, as they teamed up twice during their season.
McCreery also threw a shout out to the loyal, dedicated fans who followed and supported him on his journey. "Country music fans are great,” he said. “They’re loyal. I’ve got to thank them because they’re the reason I’m still here.”
Congrats again, Scotty! We are looking forward to seeing what you and Lauren Alaina have in store!
